Gubbio and Spoleto, or cities such as Perugia, Terni, Todi and Orvieto, as well as natural landscapes, such as Valnerina, Colfiorito, Castelluccio and many more. Le Vigne is the name of the hill where, a long time ago, military troops were based due to its strategic setting overlooking the broad valley all around it, which, today, is home to our family.
Our family has been brought up with the belief that land is an endless source of pleasure and unimaginable wealth. We like to think that, if this land was able to speak, it would surely tell us about the many knees that laid on it and of the fruits of hard work, as well as the singing, dancing, laughter and stories that it has witnessed and experienced first-hand. Alvaro and his wife Marisa grew up with this mentality, which today seems to be a rare feature, and us daughters, Erika and Serena, have appreciated this and still appreciate, every single day, the tireless passion and generosity that characterised their lifestyle.
